Retreat Landowners AssociationRetreat The Retreat has 261 tracts and 221 members in 5 filings covering about 1,000 acres.  The Board of Directors of the Retreat Landowners Association (RLA) is comprised of seven members who are elected at the annual meeting in July.

Current assessments are: $250.00 per property owner.

New policy on “Notice & Hearing of Enforcement Policy & Procedures”
to be incorporated into the RLA policy book at the June board meeting.


LAWSUIT UPDATE
Ms. Lorenz has filed a notice of appeal. Ms. Lorenz will be filing a designation of the record on appeal within the next month or so and then once that is finalized, the court of appeals will provide a schedule for briefing. Documents concerning the appeal can be found below.

Lawsuit dismissed with prejudice. Attached to the lawsuit tab are 3 orders which the Court entered on
17 Nov 2011. The first order denies a request to serve all owners by mail. The second order denies a
request to file a Third Amended Complaint and dismisses the Second Amended Complaint with prejudice.
"With prejudice" means that Ms. Lorenz may not file a new lawsuit based on the same theories.
The third order denies a Motion for Summary Judgment which was filed on 16 November 2011.
