The Retreat has 217 members in
6 filings covering about 1,000 acres. The Board of Directors of the
Retreat Landowners Association (RLA) is comprised
of seven members who are elected at the annual
meeting in July.
Current assessments are: $300 per landowner, plus a
special assessment of $100 annually to the Glen
Haven Area Volunteer Fire Dept.

CURRENT LAWSUIT STATUS
On December 6 the Court of Appeals issued its Opinion affirming the
District Court’s dismissal of Ms. Lorenz’s 11CV990 lawsuit. The Court of Appeals
upheld the ruling of the District Court requiring that Ms. Lorenz join all members
of the Association to the lawsuit as indispensable parties. The Court of Appeals also
upheld the District Court’s dismissal of the 11CV990 lawsuit with prejudice for the failure
of Ms. Lorenz to join the indispensable parties. The entire Opinion issued by the
